Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Phoenix, the AI assistant developed by Abdullah Sherify, processes your information, including the optional Google Calendar connection.
1. Information we process
When you sign in, we process account information such as your email address, name and profile picture provided by your sign-in method. When you use chat, we process your messages, Phoenix responses, files, images and audio you choose to submit, personalization settings and memories associated with your account.
Signed-in conversations are saved so you can return to them. Guest chat is not saved as conversation history in an account, but its messages are processed to generate responses. This does not mean that service providers perform no processing or keep no operational logs.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, operate chat, save conversations, process attachments, personalize responses, provide memory, and perform search, generation and connected-service tasks when those features are used. Interface preferences and some session information are stored in your browser.
If you enable notifications, we store the push subscription information needed to deliver reminders and proactive messages. Notification content may appear on your device screen. You can revoke notification permission in your browser or device settings.
3. Google Calendar
Connecting Google Calendar is optional and separate from signing in. Calendar uses event permissions to read appointments and create events and reminders based on your requests and the permissions you grant. Phoenix does not access your Gmail.
Google data is processed through the connection service. Retrieved information may be sent to an AI provider to fulfill your request and may appear in saved conversation history. Do not connect an account containing information you do not want processed in this way.
Phoenix’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This information is used to provide the features you select, not for advertising, selling data or training general-purpose AI models by Phoenix.
You can disconnect Calendar in Settings > Connectors and revoke Phoenix permissions in your Google account settings. Disconnecting removes the connection key stored by us. It does not delete events previously created in Calendar or information already included in your conversations.
4. Service providers and data sharing
Phoenix uses Lovable Cloud for hosting, authentication and storage, and Lovable services for AI and connected-service processing. Depending on the feature and selected model, request content may be processed by providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, and media-generation or speech-to-text services.
Information needed to fulfill your request may include conversation context, attachments and information retrieved from connected services. Provider processing and retention are subject to their applicable terms and policies. We do not guarantee that all providers retain no data or operational logs. Processing may take place outside your country.
5. Sharing and security
Saved conversations are associated with your account. If you choose to share a conversation, anyone who obtains its sharing link may read its content. Avoid sharing personal information or private Calendar data.
Media is stored in a private bucket and served through URLs with randomized paths. Anyone who obtains a file URL may be able to access it, and temporary copies may be cached by browsers or delivery services. Google connection keys are stored encrypted on the server. These safeguards are not an absolute guarantee of security.
6. Retention, deletion and your controls
Conversations, memories, files and settings are retained as needed to operate the service and restore your data. We currently do not specify a uniform automatic deletion period. You can delete conversations from the chat list and delete or disable memories in Settings. Disabling memory alone does not delete existing memories or conversations.
There is currently no in-app button to delete your entire account. To request account, file or other data deletion, contact the developer below. We may need to verify account ownership. Deleting a conversation record does not mean that all associated files, cached copies or third-party logs are immediately deleted.
7. Policy updates
We may update this policy when features or data processing change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page. Review this policy before connecting a new service or submitting sensitive information. Contact us with questions about your rights or how your information is processed.
